Master Lu: No, you shouldn’t. The definition of Grand Incense is very clear, it is sandalwood.
rocedure for lighting sandalwood

Firstly, raise the sandalwood above your forehead and bow;
Secondly, light the sandalwood with the oil lamp. You may hold the end of the sandalwood, but your hands must be clean. If the sandalwood is too short, you may also use a tweezer to hold it. Once it’s burning, leave it for a while;
Thirdly, put out the flames with your hand or by shaking it. Hold the sandalwood in your hand and put it above the incense burner. Its smoke will start to rise, and this is called “Rising Smoke”.
Fourthly, after the smoke has dissipated, light the sandalwood again with the oil lamp, hold it above the incense burner and put out the flame. Once the flame is extinguished, the sandalwood smoke will rise.
Repeat this three times and put the sandalwood in the incense burner. You don’t have to extinguish it, just leave it in the incense burner.
